What does it mean? I will leave it to you to figure it out.

End Of The Spear.
Another heart moving movie. I nearly shed tears, seriously. (Okay, come on. Don't laugh at me! Wait till you watch it...)

Still remember this video in my previous post?

This is the whole movie, narrated by Steve Saint, the son of Nate Saint, who were one of the killed missionaries in Auca Operation. Nate Saint was killed by Mincayani (one of the Waodani tribesman), and yet Steve became so close to him... God's love is so great, greater than any other thing in the world. That is the foundation of the strong bond between Steve and Mincayani.

This is what Steve said, "My father lost his life at the end of the spear. And it was at the end of the spear that Mincayani and I found ours... Through the years, people could always identify with our loss, but they could never imagine the way in which we would experience gain."
Nate Saint: Do you know how far away the sun is?
Young Steve Saint: 93 million miles.
Nate Saint: Do you know that that's just a fraction of how much I love you?
Young Steve Saint: If the Waodani attack, will you defend yourself? Will you use your guns?
Nate Saint: Son, we can't shoot the Waodani. They're not ready for heaven... we are.
Mincayani: Do it! I killed your father! Do it!
Steve Saint: No one took my father's life. He gave it.
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.
为了得到决不能失丧的东西
而丢弃无法永远拥有的身外之物
这样的人绝不是愚昧的人...
― Jim Elliot (one among the 5 killed missionaries, close friend of Nate Saint.)

No one took the missionaries' life, they gave it.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13

Watch it.
